Since winter has started my kids have started to get sick and are catching colds. First it was TJ and now Kayla is sick. She has been really congested so she needs some type of relief. Unfortunately there are so many choices out there it is easy to get confused. I don't like to give my kids a lot of different medicines that contain multiple drugs, especially for symptoms they don't have.

Luckily I was given the opportunity to review Kids-EEZE Chest Relief. This is a new product from the makers of Cold-EEZE that contains just one ingredient, guaifenesin, an expectorant, which helps to thin and loosen mucus. Then your child's cough will be more productive. Kid-EEZE Chest Relief is offered in soft chew form. I like that because with liquid medicine my kids never get it all off the spoon or I spill it trying to get it into their mouth. With the soft chew I am able to ensure that my kids are getting the correct and full dosage.

I gave Kayla the Strawberry Flavor. I had no problem opening the package and there was no mess because it is a chew not a liquid. She did not complain it was yucky and chewed it right up. I am happy to say Kid-EEZE Chest Relief works! Kayla said her chest did not hurt like it did before when she coughed.

Kid-EEZE Chest Relief is recommended for children six years of age and older. It is available in great tasting grape and strawberry.

Would you like to try Kid-EEZE for your kids? Well, the great people at Kid-EEZE are willing to give five(5) 1stopmom readers the chance to win 2 boxes of Kid-EEZE. You can win one of each flavor.

The child I have that needs this medication is 6 years old. He has complicated epilepsy and already takes 2 anticonvulsants 3 times a day and doesn't need more meds than absolutely neccessary. If he gets a cold he risks even higher risks of going into a seizure. He had over 100,000 seizures just from the ages of 12 -24 months of age. He has had 9 different types of seizures. His entire brain is affected and he will never "outgrow" this condition. He just turned 6 this past December 22. I appreciate you considering my child for this giveaway. Thank you! We're taking care of my niece right now and sadly she and I keep swapping this chest cold around. I think she's had it twice now and I'm on my third round! And to be honest, I'd take it myself! I'm a small person and adult medications are too strong for me. I've been taking children's medicine my whole life and they seem to give me just the right amount of medicine, never too much!

I am going to have to check out this product, I like the fact that it comes in a chew form-thanks for the heads up on something I wasn't aware of before and please count me in, my daughter gets several colds a year!
